CMS Forms manual

CMS Forms is a platform for form building, processing, and managing web forms integrated into the CMS Lite and the government website.

It's almost here

We made a significant update to CMS Forms on August 2, 2024 that contained several major new features and dozens of enhancements.

As a result, we're preparing an all-new CMS Forms Manual for you that will include:

• Information about CMS Forms, onboarding and strategy
• How to manage a form project, from initial analysis to deployment
• Workflows for creating, revising and retiring forms
• A 'cookbook' that covers:
  • Basic items for orientation or reminders
  • Solutions to everyday form building
  • Complex solutions for specific challenges or needs
  • Output guidance and solutions for things like emails and PDFs
• Reference material including:
  • A formulary to help you design expressions and calculations
  • A glossary of forms management and related terms

While focused on our CMS Forms application, most of the information and guidance provided can be applied to forms in general, regardless of the platform and media.

Expect the new manual to be released some time in late August after Interregnum.
