Getting access to Health Gateway

Anyone 12 years and older can use Health Gateway. No one except you can access your account. 

 

Before you get started, you need to:

  1. Have or get a BC Services Card

  2. Have or set up your BC Services Card account. 

Your BC Services Card account is a digital ID. You will use it to log in to Health Gateway.

Step 1: Choose web or mobile 

Health Gateway is available as a website or a mobile app. Choose whichever option is more convenient for you.

Web: Visit healthgateway.gov.bc.ca using any modern browser. 

Mobile: Download the app to your mobile phone, tablet or iPad. Then open the app.

Step 2: Log in with your BC Services Card account

Your BC Services Card account is a digital ID. It protects your identity and makes sure no one else can access your account.

Step 3: Choose your preferences and accept the terms of service

Choose whether to get SMS or email notifications from Health Gateway.

After you accept the terms of service, you can access your Health Gateway account.
