Orientation day is an opportunity for all of the students to get together, both informally and formally, with their fellow students, principals, professional staff and representatives from the Legal Services Branch (LSB) practice areas. The day begins with a short informal reception and welcome by the Assistant Deputy Attorney General, followed by a number of information sessions about each practice area and about articling generally, including expectations and practice management. These presentations and discussions assist students in determining their rotation schedules.
Orientation day typically takes place in August, following the summer Professional Legal Training Course (PLTC) session. For more information, contact Michelle Li Articling Program Manager.
