Elections BC is a non-partisan office of the Legislature that offers several types of employment opportunities.

The Public Service Act applies to these appointments.
All appointments are excluded from the bargaining unit (Schedule A or management positions).
To deliver electoral events, Elections BC supplements core staff with temporary employees.
The Public Service Act does not apply to temporary employees, nor do temporary work terms apply towards periods of public service.
