The Fort Nelson Timber Supply Area (TSA) occupies British Columbia’s northeast corner. Covering about 9.8 million hectares, it includes the communities of Prophet River, Fort Nelson, Toad River and Muncho Lake. The Fort Nelson TSA is administered by the Fort Nelson Natural Resource District.
Fort Nelson TSA’s current allowable annual cut (AAC) is 2,582,350 cubic metres, effective July 16, 2019. Generally, a new AAC is set at least once every 10 years.
