The Merritt Timber Supply Area (TSA) covers about 1.13 million hectares in British Columbia’s southwest interior. Merritt and Princeton are the largest communities in the TSA. Smaller centres include Tulameen, Brookmere, Missezula Lake, Douglas Lake, Lower Nicola, Osprey Lake and Allison Lake.
The Merritt TSA is part of the Thompson-Okanagan Natural Resource Region and is administered by the Cascades Natural Resource District.
As of March 30, 2021 the AAC becomes 1,200,000 cubic metres. Generally, a new AAC is set at least once every 10 years.
