The Highway 7 at Harris Road intersection in Pitt Meadows is a busy commuter connection point. Congestion and travel delays occur regularly during peak hours and the intersection is a collision prone location. The Highway 7 at Harris Road Improvements Project will provide a present-day solution for safer, more effective travel for motorists, public transit, active transportation and goods movement along this segment of the highway. The project cost will be estimated following public engagement and finalization of the project design. Final cost and funding sources will be confirmed as part of subsequent approvals for construction.
Consultation on the concept design was conducted from March 27 to April 24, 2023, with a public open house on March 30 in Pitt Meadows. Feedback collected from residents, businesses, and any interested groups potentially affected by this project will help inform the final design.
