Monthly Vehicle Rentals

This supply arrangement is available to:

• B.C. government ministries
• Community Living BC
• Health Authorities Liquor Control Board
• Offices of the Legislature

Monthly vehicle rentals for a minimum of one month to a maximum of 12 months

• Prior to leasing a vehicle contact your vehicle fleet coordinator to ensure utilization of the vehicle fleet

  • Determine the location you want the vehicle delivered to
  • Select lowest cost vendor
• For vehicles required for less than one month see the Daily Vehicle Rentals supply arrangement
• For vehicles required for more than 12 months contact your vehicle fleet coordinator
• ​The Purchaser will be responsible for vehicle service (8,000 km or four months) in accordance with the attached Vehicle Minor Service Schedule (PDF,70KB)

Cost is dependent upon the vehicle type and the supplier

 The ORP is an all-inclusive package that will outfit the vehicle for use on unpaved roads. The ORP has been added to the CSA to optimize user safety and convenience, while keeping charges for damage to a minimum.

At a minimum, all vehicles rented through this CSA must be equipped with the appropriate tires for the area as required by Province of BC tire and chain requirements

All vehicles will be provided with two sets of keys.

All accidents must be reported to:

• the rental agency within 24 hours; and
• the employee's supervisor and/or manager, who in turn must report it to the Risk Management Branch and the ministry Fleet Coordinator.
• The local police must be informed within 24 hours when:

1. damages exceed $1,000;
2. a person has sustained injury or death; or
3. there has been a hit-and-run accident with damage.

The minimum rental period is 31 days.  The maximum consecutive rental period is 364 days.
