Release Number: 2.7.2
Release Date: Sep 19, 2017
What's New?
- The Help menu, found in the CMS Lite Banner, now lists the links in alphabetical order
- You can delete a page or asset from the Content/Asset Status Pane of the homepage
- Existing deletion rules apply. If you attempt to delete a page which contains children pages, the deletion action will not occur. You need to ensure all of its children pages are deleted before the page you are deleting can be done
- For CMS Lite system administrators, the User screen now shows if someone is set as a Manager of a particular group
- If an existing page path value exists in PROD, and a user attempts to publish a page or an asset with the same human-readable URL, an error will be displayed, and an email will be sent to the user
- Use case 1: Page 1 exists in PROD, using page path "abc". The user unpublishes page 1, and subsequently updates and saves the page with page path "xyz". The user then creates page 2 (at the same level as page 1), and uses the page path "abc". This will work. However, if the user attempts to publish page 2, it will fail, since page 1's page path, "abc" still exists in PROD
- Use case 2: Page 1 exists in PROD, using page path "abc". Page 1 is moved to another location. Page 2 is created at the same level/location where page 1 existed, and is created with page path "abc". This will work. However, if the user attempts to publish page 2, it will fail, since page 1's page path, "abc" still exists in PROD
- Use case 3: A published asset exists in Folder 1 as file 123.pdf. File 123.pdf is subsequently moved to Folder 2, but it is not republished. If the file 123.pdf is re-uploaded into Folder 1, the publish action will fail. The file that was moved to Folder 2 must be published from its new location folder first
